Telepsychiatry Services

Salako Psychiatry currently provides the majority of appointments through secure telepsychiatry visits. Telepsychiatry allows patients to meet with Dr. Salako from the privacy and convenience of their home using a secure video platform.

Virtual appointments are available for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up care. Telepsychiatry offers greater flexibility, improved accessibility, and eliminates travel time while maintaining the same high standard of care.

Most medications prescribed by our practice, including many psychiatric medications, can be managed through telehealth appointments. However, regulations and pharmacy requirements may occasionally vary. In some cases, a pharmacy requirement may require an in-person visit before certain controlled medications can be dispensed or continued. While this is uncommon, patients should be aware that these requirements are outside the control of our practice and may change over time.

At this time, Salako Psychiatry primarily operates as a virtual practice. Limited in-person services may be offered in the future as availability allows.
